Collaborate with the object of your jealousy.

It's no secret that Unwoman is an incredible musician with an unshakable vision; her most recent album, Desire Paths, was proof of just that. I've glowered enviously in the corner, gawking at her command of her instrument and unflappable work ethi from the sidelines for over a decade. She's an artist it's easy to be jealous of.

Somehow, amidst promoting her own album, she found time to completely change my perspective on this track. It breathed new life into this song in a way that I wasn't expecting.Her melancholic additions inspired me to transform what was once an ambling kazoo solo into a haunting chorus.

There will be kazoo on this record, just not on this song. I'm forever grateful to Unwoman for making time in her busy life to be a part of this record, and for validating my effort as a musician and artist.
